Senior Oracle Reports Developer
Job Summary:
Next Generation, Inc, an Equal-Opportunity Employer, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Reports Developer to join our dynamic team for a hybrid role based out of Alexandria, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) models and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, design, and maintain complex Oracle Reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Utilize Oracle PPM models to support project management and portfolio analysis.
- Integrate Oracle Reports with ERP systems to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
- Optimize and troubleshoot existing reports to improve performance and accuracy.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on Oracle Reports and related tools.
- Stay updated with the latest Oracle technologies and best practices to ensure the continuous improvement of reporting solutions.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Reports development.
- Proven experience with Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM) models.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their integration with Oracle Reports.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other Oracle development tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Oracle certification in relevant areas.
- Experience with other reporting tools and technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
